Worthy lessons

I have just finished the longest time of studying since I stayed in Toulouse. I’m feeling a little bit of fatigue, but this feeling pushes me to write something on my website as a remarkable milestone.

I want to recall a valuable lesson of mine last Thursday, when I was studying in the self-studying room of ENAC, Garro’s hall with one of my classmates. I was confusing with many classes and homework in my school that I have never gone through before. So I tried to look at the classes’ previous exams and try to imitate the ways to solve each exercise. I give up the theory. I shared to my mate, and she awoke to me.
“Never learn for the exams”. She explains
”If you learn for making a high mark at school, you will lose during the rest of your working career. When we try to solve a particular task by replying it many times to remember, I would say you are not home, but a photocopy machine.”
You know what, I was surprised by her talk. I leant to reach a high score during my university, and lately, I forgot everything just after the exam days. I did not absorb anything to my mind. When I look at previous knowledge, I could not recall, because I don’t get anything. This is not the aim of schools, education.
Learn to apply to real life, learn to sharpen your mind, and learn to adapt life changes.
This is the key; life is changing in every single moment. Never apply an exercise with an absolute equation to your study, learn to be conscious of the theory’s factual knowledge will help you apply every case in ordinary life.
Do not limit yourself.
I was sleepy, I will come back to adjust it later.
Have a good night!
Giap
